Parc André-J.-Côté, with its feet in the river
This is the town's living room: a big park along the St. Lawrence River, on Marie-Victorin boulevard, with a public wharf, an outdoor stage, and hundreds of trees for shade. Right in the middle of the park, a house from 1787 has become a cultural venue. In summer, the Candiac en musique concerts fill the lawn; the rest of the year, locals just come to walk facing the water.
