Saint-Basile-le-Grand is the Vallée-du-Richelieu town living between two mountains: Mont Saint-Bruno on one side, Mont Saint-Hilaire on the other, and the Richelieu River flowing along its eastern edge. The Grandbasilois have an old village founded in 1871, farming ranges still very much alive, a commuter train station, and yet downtown Montreal about thirty minutes away. My home base is Verdun, but I work with buyers and sellers on both sides of the river, for a family home just as much as a commercial space.
I put together this top 10 for a simple reason: when you buy or sell, you're not just shopping for a property, you're shopping for a neighbourhood life. Each point comes with an opening to talk. Use it.
