The Chambly basin at the end of the yard
The village stretches along the east bank of the Richelieu, right where the river widens into the Chambly basin. A municipal dock reaches out into the water, a marina welcomes boaters, and the water is good for sailing, kayaking, paddleboarding and even kitesurfing on a windy day. It's the river that gave birth to the village three centuries ago, and it's still the river that sets the tone.
