The Lac des Deux Montagnes at the end of the street
The municipality occupies a point jutting into the Lac des Deux Montagnes, a widening of the Ottawa River that then flows into the Rivière des Mille Îles and the Rivière des Prairies toward Montreal. Across the water, you can make out Île Bizard. Here, the lake is part of daily life: pontoon boats in summer, ice fishing and snowmobiling once the ice sets in.
